2. Up to 5x safer rear-facing
Keeping your child rear-facing is the single most important safety choice you can make. Because a child’s head is proportionally heavy and their neck is still developing until age five, their spine requires protection. In a collision, a rear-facing seat cradles the child and distributes impact forces across the back— the strongest part of the body.
3. Secure ISOFIX installation
Correct installation is just as critical as the seat itself. Research shows that while nearly 60% of belt-installed seats are fitted incorrectly, ISOFIX errors occur in only 5% of cases. By utilizing the ISOFIX standard, we have made safety faster, simpler, and more consistent.

TinySeats are engineered for durability and long-term stability. Our reinforced frames utilize a high-performance blend of heat-treated steel, Grivory, and aluminum to deliver exceptional structural integrity while remaining lightweight.
Certified to UN R129 (i-Size)
TinySeats is certified according to UN R129 (i-Size), the latest European safety regulation for child car seats.
This standard requires testing in both frontal and side-impact collisions, as well as improved compatibility with modern vehicles.
R129 certification means the seat meets internationally recognised safety requirements — for trusted peace of mind.
The Swedish Plus Test is a voluntary certification that manufacturers can pursue in addition to R129 approval. It is known for its strict focus on measuring forces on the child’s neck in a frontal collision and to be of the most demanding safety tests in the world.
Because the Plus Test is only applicable to rear-facing car seats, only seats designed exclusively for rear-facing use can be certified.
A dedicated rear-facing version of TinySeats Two is currently in development, built on the same safety structure, with the aim of enabling Plus Test certification. Planned for 2026.
