Everything You Need to Know
Below you will find our official policies. If anything is unclear or if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to reach out to us — we're here to help.
Refund & Warrenty
At TinySeats, we prioritize the safety of your child above all else. Because our products are life-saving safety equipment, we maintain a strict return policy to ensure every seat we sell is in factory-certified condition.
1. Right of Withdrawal (Change of Mind)
In accordance with EU and Swedish consumer protection laws, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your order. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused, unwashed, and uninstalled.
- In its original, undamaged packaging with all labels, security seals, manuals, and accessories intact.
- Accompanied by a valid proof of purchase (order confirmation).
- Return Costs: Please note that if you choose to exercise your right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to our warehouse in Sweden. TinySeats Europe AB does not offer free returns for change-of-mind purchases.
2. Safety & Hygiene Restrictions
For safety and hygiene reasons, the right of withdrawal is voided if the product has been assembled or installed in a vehicle.
Important: Once a car seat has been installed, we can no longer guarantee its structural integrity or safety for a new user. Therefore, items with broken security seals or signs of installation are ineligible for return unless they are found to be faulty.
3. Faulty or Damaged Items
If your product arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us at connect@tinyseats.com within 7 days of delivery (or as soon as the fault is discovered, in accordance with the Swedish Consumer Sales Act).
To process a claim, please include:
- Photos or videos of the issue.
- A clear photo of the Serial Number (found on the orange sticker located underneath the ISOFIX base).
Once the defect is confirmed, we will provide a repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with Swedish and EU consumer law. TinySeats Europe AB will cover all shipping costs for confirmed faulty items.
4. How to Start a Return
All returns must be pre-approved. Please do not send items back without contacting us first.
- Email: Send your order number and reason for return to connect@tinyseats.com.
- Details: For car seats, you must include the Serial Number.
- Ship: Once approved, we will provide return instructions.
- Customer Responsibility: For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs and insurance. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as TinySeats cannot issue refunds for items lost or damaged in transit back to our warehouse.
5. Refunds & Exchanges
- Refunds: Once your return is received and inspected to ensure it meets our safety criteria, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days.
- Non-Refundable Fees: Original shipping fees, customs duties, and local taxes paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
- Exchanges: Exchanges are subject to product availability. If your requested item is out of stock, a refund will be issued instead.
Shipping Policy
We are committed to delivering your TinySeats safely and efficiently. This policy outlines our shipping standards, timelines, and the responsibilities regarding the collection of your order.
1. Delivery Destinations
TinySeats Europe AB ships to customers within Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland (Scandinavia), and the European Union. For customers in Asia or the Middle East, please visit our regional store at asia.tinyseats.com.
2. Estimated Delivery Times
Once your order has been processed and you receive a shipping confirmation email, the following estimated delivery windows apply:
- Scandinavia: 3–5 business days.
- Rest of Europe: Up to 10 business days.
Please Note: While we strive to meet these timelines, delivery times may be extended due to circumstances beyond TinySeats' control (e.g., extreme weather, carrier strikes, or global logistics disruptions).
3. Order Tracking
Upon dispatch of your order, a confirmation email will be issued to you. Please note that tracking numbers are assigned manually; if your confirmation does not include a tracking link, you may request one from our support team. We kindly ask customers to take responsibility for monitoring their tracking status to ensure timely collection from their local service point.
4. Right to Cancel Due to Delay
We value your time. If the status of your order remains unchanged (e.g., no movement or updates from the carrier) for more than 15 days after you have received your initial shipping confirmation email, you have the right to cancel your purchase and receive a full refund.
To exercise this right, please contact us at connect@tinyseats.com with your order number.
5. Delivery and Collection Methods
The delivery method depends on your location and the local courier infrastructure:
- Scandinavia (Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland): Packages are typically delivered to a local service point (agent).
- Rest of Europe: Depending on local availability, your order will be delivered either to a designated service point or directly to the shipping address provided at checkout (Home Delivery).
Collecting from a Service Point (Agent)
If your package is delivered to an agent, the following rules apply:
Personal Collection: You are generally required to collect the package in person. You must present a valid form of identification that matches the name on the order.
Authorized Representatives: If you cannot collect the package yourself, you may send a representative. To do so, the representative must provide:
- Their own valid identification.
- The customer’s (your) valid identification.
- The collection code or tracking information.
- Home Delivery
For direct-to-address deliveries, please ensure that someone is available to receive the package. If the courier is unable to complete the delivery, the package may be redirected to a local depot or service point for collection, or a second delivery attempt may be scheduled according to the carrier's local policy.
6. Unclaimed Packages
If a package is not collected from the service point within the carrier's designated timeframe (usually 7–14 days) and is returned to TinySeats Europe AB, we reserve the right to charge a fee to cover the return shipping and administrative costs. This fee will be deducted from your refund.
7. Shipping Damage
Please inspect your package immediately upon arrival. If the packaging appears significantly damaged, we recommend noting this with the carrier at the time of collection or refusing the delivery. If the product inside is damaged, please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy and contact us within 7 days.
